Today was my first music lesson. Before music, I joined art, but then realised that I have to make a comic corresponding to the Ma Yan novel. I am taking Bahasa language B at the moment, so we are not studying the Ma Yan novel. After that I decided to move to music.
In my first lesson, we learnt things about jazz music. We also sang the song 'Sway' by Michael Buble. This song would be the song I am going to sing for the singing assessment. We went infront of the class to practise singing and I reckon I did pretty well. We received a project which requires us to make a presentation on jazz music. My group got assigned ragtime. The people in my group are Adeline, Bayu and Ian. Hopefully I can cope in this music class and hand the work on time. I also need to bring my stationeries including a music book which I do not have.
After that we had a turn at playing 'All of Me' on the piano. I havn't played the piano for ages so I was a bit rusty. I will practice hard at home and hopefully play better next time.
